My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sherlock is an affectionate, cuddly lovebug when you finally get to know her. She is turning 8 as of 2024. She is an extremely active dog who loves to run, so she would greatly benefit from a home with a backyard or someone who takes frequent walks/hikes. She does well on a leash and enjoys long walks, but does get a bit carsick. She has lived in a home with 6 other dogs and did fine but is food-aggressive. If around other dogs, food would have to be safely secured and hidden away. She would need to be fed in a crate. Otherwise, she does very well and has a long history of using other dogs as pillows. She always has a smile on her face and insists that she is a lap dog so she can cuddle with you on the couch or in the bed. She responds well to training and would be very easy to teach new tricks. For an older dog, she does not act her age, and instead acts like a puppy.
