My name is Mavrick!

Remember that meme where the woman was yelling at a cat? That was the shelter staff 15 minutes past closing attempting to get Mavrick out from under a wall of clinic holding cages. 5 of them vs 1 of him. It was almost impressive.
Mavrick is a special boy who is very protective over his title "Hide and Seek Champion of the Planet." This highway straight to the danger zone is not the cat for everyone, and that's okay. A complex cat needs a complex human to understand them. Mavrick's perfect home would include a lot of (safe) nooks and crannies in which to nestle and more independece than your traditional pet. No crowding, no smothering with hugs. Mavrick would like to find a human very much like himself; somone who doesn't take sh- from anyone.
