My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sprocket was surrendered to the shelter on June 9, 2022. We are told he is an Old English Bulldog/Pit Mix. He's sweet fellow weighing 60 Pounds.
Sprocket is being returned to our shelter because he hates the neighbor male dogs and they got into a scuffle. Sprocket will need a home without any male dogs or male dog neighbors. He does well with female dogs and has lived with two. Sprocket needs a secure fence where he can't go under it or a nice place in the country. House trained and a happy boy. He is good at protecting his home as well when owners are away. We are so very full at the shelter so we are hoping sprocket finds a new home quickly! Adoptions fee $100

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only 2 employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
