Such a wiggly boy! Once comfortable in his environment, Bubala likes to show off his big smile and loves attention from his favorite people. Bubala has been playful with other likeminded dogs at the shelter. This boy loves his treats, and he is eager to learn. He already knows sit, shake, and down!
Bubala's experiences before he was found as a stray are unknown, and at this time Foothills recommends a home with older or no children as he weathers the transitional stress of getting settled into a new life routine.
Bubala has become a favorite dog to walk by our volunteers. They tell us Bubala is an energetic and enthusiastic walking buddy, is friendly to folks he sees, sits politely for treats and enjoyed the winter sport of playing in the snow. Now with the warmer weather approaching, you might find him appreciating the opportunity to romp outside and enjoy the smells or perhaps wanting to jump into the water and roll in the sand! And in an enclosed area, he excels at doing zoomies! Primary Color: Cream Weight: 75 Age: 4yrs 2mths 0wks

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter and first vaccines, medical exam, and microchip.
How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
