Hi my name is Faye. Sometimes I hear the volunteers call me Feisty Faye. It could be they are talking about my high energy approach to life. They say you are only young once and I plan on living life to the fullest. I'm only a year old so why not do everything with the most enthusiasm possible. I may temporarily find myself living in the shelter but I am going to make the very most of the experience. I mean why not. I have a lot of friends here that take me out for long walks on the trail where they let me sniff all I want OR we go to the play yard where they let me run and do as many zoomies as I possibly can. My favorite play yard is the one with the JollyBall. That is the best - I just love running around shaking that rope and ball. I make the best of every situation and have fun doing absolutely everything. It's just my personality to play hard, love hard and then crash hard when it's nap time. I get excited at pretty much everything and I do it all at warp speed so my new friends are working with me on slowing down. We are working on brain things like learning how to sit and even sit and wait. That is hard for me because I don't really like waiting but just like everything else I do I'm giving training my best shot and I'm happy to learn. My favorite thing besides the JollyBall and treats is pleasing my people. I really hope my new family wants to continue to work on basic training and helping me learn everything I need to for for good manners and canine good citizenship. I could pass that class (canine good citizenship) with a little practice. So what do you say? Do you need a ray of sunshine to brighten up your life? I'm all sunshine, no clouds so come meet me and I'll be your ray of sunshine. I can't wait to meet you. I already know I love you unconditionally - xoxo love Faye...Adopt from MCAS All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (and treated if positive), microchipped, and current on all vaccinations.
We are open 7 days a week 12pm to 5pm for adoptions, no appointment necessary!
