Daria Adams

Little Miss Jolie is looking for her forever home or foster. ❤️

When you look at Jolie, the first thing you see is her stunning beauty, living up to her name. This was not the dog that came into rescue - this beautiful transformation is thanks to the loving care she received in her current home.

When she first came into ABMR the shelter told us she was around 9 years old due to the ware and tear on her teeth. Her coat was dull she had no fur on her back, scabs everywhere due to a flea and tick infestation, she was incredibly thin and underweight. Just heart breaking.
Her fur is still coming back and thickening so she is now beginning to enjoy gentle brushing and she’s understanding that the Dremel is not the devil incarnate.

Now she is healthy, happy and looking forward to seeing who the lucky person is who will take her home and make it hers.❤️

After having extensive dental work done removing the damaged teeth (top and bottom incisors, lower canines), she is finally pain free, her true and loving personality is coming out.
She also had an Embark test done, it turns out that this Little Miss is only 3.5 to 4 years old, she’s still a young girl……

So this strikingly beautiful girl bonds quickly to her humans and is quite the Velcro Mal which does make her rather anxious when left alone, this will be something that will need to be taken care of with continued crate training. Otherwise she thinks she’s Houdini. She eats all her meals in her crate, treats as well.
One thing she loves to do is chill out on the bed or couch with her human and cuddle, she loves to cuddle, watch TV or discuss World Peace with her favorite person ❤️

She also loves playing outside running around and in general just being a goofball with her many toys, balls, baby Kong pacifier, Kong dumbbell, but if it’s cold and raining she will quite happily put herself on her treadmill and wait patiently for you to turn it on.

When she first arrived, she was unsure of her surroundings, being inside a home. Ceiling fan, clock on the wall, lamp, toilet bowl brush, were all eval monsters are now just part of her home.
She will investigate any strange noise in the house but on a good note she is not fearful of thunderstorms

Jolie has some basic obedience, she’s a quick learner and will benefit from on going training, like all Mals she’s into her routine and loves a challenge. She is food motivated and has a very strong prey drive so pet squirrels are a big No for her next home. Also no cats or small hyper dogs that want to get all up in your business, you know the ones I’m talking about……..

The only reason this girl is up for adoption is because her current owner is under going some serious medical procedures which includes surgery and extensive rehabilitation over a long period of time. They feel Jolie is not getting the physical or mental stimulation she should be having and their stress is starting to manifest in Jolie, this is breaking their hearts.
This decision was not taken lightly but made with Jolies best interests at heart.❤️

She is house trained, crate trained, up to date on all vaccinations and spayed. She is at present residing in IN.
If this cutie is the girl you have been looking for please reach out, if you are not an approved adopter or foster please fill out the application form and submit.
