When I found Toaster on the side of the road, he weighed 23 pounds. After a month of food and rest, he grew to weigh 50 pounds. Rescuing a stray dog was an easy decision, but finding a home for him is hard. We have been searching desperately. There are no shelters in our area that will take him because he was found outside of city limits. Toaster is the sweetest and most affectionate boy I've ever met. He loves being with people and plays well with other dogs. We cannot keep him due to already owning two very territorial female dogs. It would not be a safe situation for him if we did not keep them separated. We are searching for an owner that can give this boy the attention he deserves and a safe environment where he can roam freely. Toaster loves soft things and treat puzzles. He is very intelligent and learns quickly. Due to being dumped, he is afraid of cars and typically has to be lifted into them rather than jumping. If you need a playmate for your pet, Toaster is perfect!
