My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Thunder, and I'm an 8-month-old male Jindo mix eagerly waiting for my forever home. I was rescued along with my mom from a Dog meat farm in Daegu City, and now I'm patiently waiting for someone like you to come and take me home.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I absolutely adore people—I'm a real people-pup! I'm very obedient and I'll gladly accept treats from anyone, even if I've just met them. I'm super friendly and I'll even show you my belly if you want to give it a rub!

When it comes to other dogs, I'm polite but not overly playful. I'll say hello, but I'm not one to engage in rough play.

I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to walking on a leash, so I might pull a bit, but I'm getting better every day. I enjoy outdoor potty breaks, and while I may not guard my food from humans, I might give a warning growl if other dogs try to get too close.

I have a little habit of eating small amounts of food frequently, and I've even figured out how to get in and out of cars all by myself!

If you're looking for a furry friend who's sweet, friendly, and ready to learn, then look no further! I'm Thunder, and I can't wait to become a part of your family. Let's make some memories together!

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
