My story

Kona is a pure bred German Shorthair Pointer. She was never trained to hunt but does point. We tried to rehome her and it wasn't a good fit. Although she gets on well with our dogs, she had to prove she was dominate first. She might need to start out as an only dog first. She does not care to be around a lot of dogs at once. She does OK in a crate on long rides she's doesn't care much for the car. Like any Dog entering a new home she will need patience and time. She walks well on the leash. She loves to run with us and could run forever. She is a funny girl with a fun personality. She gets on well with other people. We have never owned a cat but she has chased the neighbors cats and been chased by a neighbors Tom cat. She needs daily exercise. It can be a large yard to run in or a couple walks a day. Kona loves to lie in the sun and nap and will trade you a toy for a treat.
