Zoey was adopted by us from a family in Surprise, AZ 5 yrs ago. She is now 7 (birthday 06/18/17). She is very lovable and wants to be touched and petted as often as someone is willing! She has very little shedding; the poodle in her helps a lot. She is good with other dogs but has no desire to play. She loves to sit on a lap or lay in bed and sleep all day. Toys don’t interest her. She can be timid until she is comfortable in the new surroundings. She does not get kenneled and likes to cuddle! She has free grazing of her food as we have never put her on a specific meal time. She knows commands of stay, sit, lay down, and shake. She seems to be losing some hearing but for some reason when I take the treat bag out and open it, she’s right there at attention! Zoey gets very excited to go on walks and spins circles of joy when she sees her leash come out of the closet. She would be a great companion for someone who wants a dog that is less active
