My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Josh was abandoned as a new born and brought to a high kill shelter in SCarolina. He was then connected with an agency in Connecticut where he was fostered and supposedly trained. He came as advertised as house, lease and crate trained... not so much, sadly. He has had full vet services (Dr Harmon in Sandwich MA) and is healthy. He has a fair amount of anxiety... not only separation anxiety but also isolation anxiety... as long as you (or someone in the pack) is in the room he is a wonderful pet. But we find that we cannot leave him to go out to dinner (we are empty nesters) We paid for professional training but obviously we did not do enough to train him as he jumps on people who visit, barks really loudly, does not come when called and cannot leave the house without a leash. He is energetic and loves to put his nose to the ground but lately
accidents in the house have discouraged us about the long term. He is 95% of the time a great pet but he is more than we can handle.
