My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maybelle is a 20-week-old approx 26 lbs mixed pup. She is an intelligent, independent, curious, and social puppy that will make a great family dog. We were told she is husky mix, but we see Carolina Dog. Whatever she is, Maybelle is a cutie! She loves to play and gets the zoomies from time to time but she is also very content snuggling with her people no matter the time of day. This pup loves toys! She will get them all out and pick one to take around the house with her. Maybelle is happily able to entertain herself with a good bone or toy but is definitely a people's dog and will loyally follow her person wherever he/she goes. She  is crate trained and sleeps in her crate overnight. She even puts herself to bed without being told. Come morning, she will happily greet you with tail wags and kisses. Maybelle is potty trained with frequent outings. Maybelle is extremely smart; she knows several commands and is easily trainable with praise. A fenced in yard is required for off leash playtime.

She loves just sitting on the steps and observing everything. But chewing up a leaf or stick is a close second. (And who doesn’t love a quick zoomie too while you’re out there?!)

She’s an amazing car rider. She goes with her foster mom to the office and on errands every day. She is crate trained for when you need to leave but if given the choice she’d rather hop in and go with you!

Maybelle must have an active companion dog in her forever home. Adoption fee $500.

Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. Rabies vaccines are given if the dog is 16 weeks of age or older.
