This supports all rescue dogs for vetting, foods and whatever they need.
We are all volunteers.
Born DEC 2023 and is a pure bred Shihtzu puppy weighing about 8.5 lbs and growing. She is expected to be maybe 16 lbs. from a breeder who asked us to assist as she is going out of business. She is learning life in the world outside of a crate and are doing very well!. She is still a bit shy but each day changing already and more puppy --like the shihtzus are known for. She will develop under your love. They are learning about toys, dog beds, grass and that people pet them. They are not yet jumping because they never had that opportunity, so sad is life living in crates. It is so exciting adopting one of these dogs. participating and teaching them. Each day is a new different day.
She just arrived in Rhode Island on March 15 sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. So get your application in now so you don't miss out. We have begun teaching bathroom skills using pee pads and outside as well. MEETINGS ARE BY APPOINTMENTS AND IMMEDIATE IN WEST WARWICK IN THE FOSTER HOME.
OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss . The dog will be in Rhode Island for a meet and greet. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families.

Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. If you have already applied in the past, then please send us a message with your name and what dog you are now interested in being considered for and we will pull off the server. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. If you don't see any information you need to know, we probably don't have an answer....like cats...idk...
