My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SARGE is a 10 year old Min Pin who has been surrendered to our pound twice. SARGE lost the first home he ever had a month ago when he his family moved and didn't take him with them. He was adopted soon after. A few days later, SARGE had some gastro issues which required a visit to the vet. He's been fine ever since. However, SARGE needs a dental and has a couple of small benign tumors under his tail that the vet recommended removing. The adopter made an appointment to get it done and the nonprofit that we work with offered to pay for the tumor removal, but not the dental. The adopter was pleased with that and then decided she didn't want the financial commitment that comes with a senior dog (actually any dog) so she brought SARGE back. He is the most adorable little boy. He is a snuggler and a cuddler and loves to sleep in bed with his person. He just loves to go for walks. Like most small dogs, he thinks he is much bigger than he is! SARGE is good with kids and other dogs, but he doesn't like cats. He is crate trained and housebroken. He goes to the door when he has to or wants to go out. This little guy doesn't deserve the bad luck he has and would love to have a person to sleep with instead of being alone in a concrete kennel surrounded by noisy dogs.
