My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m a gorgeous 3-year-old female Shepherd mix. I weigh 55 pounds.

I'm a wonderful dog - intelligent, playful, loving, quiet and non-destructive. I ride nicely in the car and walk well on the leash, too.

I get along great with everyone in my foster home: dogs and cats. I'm house trained and kennel trained, happy go-lucky and a joy to be around. I love people and greatly enjoy being by your side. While I’m an indoor dog, I will also need a home with a nice, safely fenced yard to run and play in with my family. I am not suited for apartment/town home/condo or mobile home living.

If there are children in the home, they must be at least 7 years old as they have impulse control.
I’m spayed, current on my vaccines, licensed and micro chipped. My adoption fee is $300.

Please contact Carrie On Rescue if you have any questions about me or to request an application. Their contact information is carrieonrescuers@hotmail.com or call them at (480) 603-7680.

Please note: Carrie on Rescue does not do adoptions outside of the state of Arizona.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process includes an Adoption Application, followed by a personal interview, a meet-and-greet appointment, and sometimes a home visit with the potential adopters, their family and other pets. The Adoption Contract states that the adopter will take over all medical care of the new pet and contact us if there is ever a time when they would need to surrender the pet back to us.

We are all volunteers so please give us 24 hours to respond. Your email is important to us...and our foster dogs and cats!
