My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Could Amy be the apple of your eye?

Amy is a sweet and demure 4 year old girl who loves scratches and cuddling. She’s shy and reserved but has a delightful personality and lots of love to give for her special someone. Amy had her left eye removed due to health issues, but she’s adapted to her pirate style with ease (her black patch on her face even looks like an eye patch to boot)! Her slow, one-eyed blinks/winks are sure to melt your heart. Amy has the fluffiest coat you’ve ever seen on a calico, and lucky for you, she loves to snuggle at night in bed.

Amy tested positive for FeLV, so she should be the only cat in the house or she can live with other FeLV+ cats. FeLV is a lifelong incurable condition, but cats with FeLV can also live long and happy lives. FeLV is not transmissible to humans or dogs. She will be retested on 3/16 to see if she kicked out her infection or if she’s indeed positive.

Amy would therefore do best in a home by herself or with a sweet FeLV+ cat that can keep her company. She’s a little wary of loud noises so she’d also do best with her own calm environment where she can decompress. Rest assured though that she’s a sucker for food and treats and will show you lots of love and affection once her belly is full.

Adopt Amy and be ready for a lifetime of love and affection!
