Hi! My name is Maggie and I'm an 8.5 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound looking for a new home! I'm a sweet girl who would probably prefer to be the only dog in the home, as I'm dog selective. I am still willing to meet your dog to see if we are a good fit. I'm not terribly playful, so I would need a low key fur sibling. I am good with kids, too! Additionally, I would make a great companion dog to someone who is older. I still will need someone with the ability to take me for walks. Please put in an application if you'd like to meet me! I can't wait!

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Here at Cross Your Paws Rescue, we are driven by a single goal; to save lives. We are doing our part in making the world a better place for all pets. Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
