Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We have any potential adopter fill out an adoption application with two personal references and a vet reference. These are followed up on and if all is satisfactory we schedule a home visit to ensure it is a safe and appropriate enviroment. Also, at this time, two copies of the actual adoption contract stating our requirements of adoption is filled out and the adoption fee is paid.

Go meet their pets

We hold adoptions every Saturday at PetSmart in Lady Lake, Florida from 10am to 2pm. If someone cannot make it to an adoption event, the person can contact us through email or phone and arrangements can be made to see and adopt a dog.

More about this rescue

Max's Pet Connection was started in 2004 and is an all volunteer organization. We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit small dog adoption agency located in central Florida that is dedicated to saving the lives of small breeds and mixes and believe that these animals are precious and deserve a new start in life. Public donations are needed and graciously accepted to help pay for the costs of rescueing and vetting these unwanted, abandoned, and neglected dogs. We also are always in need of foster homes in the central Florida area.
