My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey everyone, I’m looking to find a home for this sweet boy. His name is Chico, I’ve been struggling to take care of him for quite some time now both financially and practically. He has some behavioral issues, namely with getting his nails trimmed, but also has some body handling issues. He used to be on Prozac for his anxiety but it stopped working for him. Trazadone does the job a little bit, but he still can be difficult to work with. He’s also been on gabapentin and clomicalm. He does seem to show some improvement with these medications, but as of late, I have not been able to afford them. He is a snuggle bug, loves to burrow under bed sheets. He is not crate trained, but he is highly food motivated and clicker trained. My situation is not temporary, as I will be moving later this year to a home with a small child and other pets, both of which he would not be good with. I would say that he would be better as a single dog household. He will be 7 years old in August. I love him a lot
