Children: I do not have any small children, but the person that had her prior to me fostering does and she said Minnie did great with them.
Dogs: She does very well with my pups, but they are all small.
Cats: Unknown, I do not have any cats.
Minnie was found downtown Killeen. After all efforts were made to find the owner, no one came forward. Minnie was staying with a family that has small children for about a month after being found, but the family was not able to keep her so she came to me to foster.
We have been working on potty training with Minnie and she is about 95% there. You just have to make sure to let her out often because she is still a puppy and tell her to go potty.
Minnie is crate trained, but may whine at first. We are working on her with a leash but no luck yet. She will allow you to put her vest on her and leash, but that's about it. I'm sure as she gets a little older she will love going for walks, but for now she is not having it.
Minnie is still a puppy and her training is still in progress, but she catches on fast. She is very shy at first and may coward and pee if you try to pick her up too fast. She may also growl or bark at you until she gets comfortable.
Minnie is not food aggressive, but may growl at other pups if she has her own dish of food and they get too close. Otherwise she shares the dry food just fine with the other pups.
Minnie loves to cuddle and play with the other pups. She also likes to get toys from the toy box and play with them.
A fenced in yard would be required.
