Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Vivian!

I'm a very active adult girl who loves zipping around my foster home and playing tag. I'm not really a lap cat, but I show my affection in other ways. The only thing I love more than playing tag with my human, is cuddling with them under the dining table and in other comfy spaces. There's nothing better than hanging out with my human in a cozy little spot! I also love talking to my human, chasing my wand toys, and carrying my toy mice around our home.

I grew up with a kitty sister and human brothers, but I can be a little scaredy-cat around new people and animals. I've been an only kitty for a year now, and that's nice too. I get stressed in new environments, so I will need nice and calm introductions when I'm adopted. Also, I'm on a urinary diet because I once had sterile cystitis that the veterinarians feel may have been brought on by stress.

Submit Application

Our adoption counselors will review your application and contact you to make an appointment to meet our pets.

2.
Interview

Our adoption counselors will contact you with personalized matchmaking services and training support!

3.
Meet the Pet

Bring everyone in your family - including dogs. Also bring proof of homeownership or permission from your landlord.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If there’s a match, you can finalize the adoption and upon completion of spay/neuter surgery, you can take home your new best friend.

Additional adoption info

We test animals for the following:

Dogs: Good with other dogs, possibly cats, food aggression, walks on leash, noting any other attributes we may know.

Cats: Good with other cats, litter box trained, noting any other attributes we may know.

We cannot test if any animal is good with children. We may know if an animal is possibly house trained, but cannot guarantee any animal in the shelter is house trained. We do not know if a dog is good with cats unless we are advised by a person surrendering the animal. We may have an idea of this depending on how the dog reacts to our community cats that live on the property.
