Prepare for heart melting. Miss Ruby is a love bug and just wants to curl up with you and sneak kisses. When she wants to chill out, she will go to her crate and nap. While home alone, she does well enclosed in crate for up to 5-6 hours. Play is her middle name, ball, fluffy, squeaky, or chewy, there is no toy she would deny. Her ball game is tight and is getting good at catching it mid air. She also loves a game of chase and therefore requires a fully fenced yard. Her daily walks are the highlight of her day. She does well on a leash, but has shown that she is not ready to meet other dogs. She has some fear-aggression and goes into protective mode. For now, she keeps to her side of the sidewalk. Ruby is a great companion and an amazing dog, but she needs to be the only dog in the home. She currently resides with another female dog and recently has become aggressive towards her. She will do well with an experienced adopter that can one on one train her and help build her confidence.
