My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Thorr, I am a Parti poodle, blond; about 2-3 years old, I weigh 54 pounds; I came into rescue from a breeder situation. SO HAPPY TO BE OUT OF THAT HORRIBLE SITUATION, as all I have ever known is living in a kennel and being a breeder. The rescue is taking care of my much needed mental and health, grooming, so I can learn to be a wonderful companion to a loving home. I am learning to walk on a leash, play with new friends, and meet people and hopefully will learn not to be so scared one day. I need groceries, I am pretty thin. Experienced adopter and fenced yard required. Doing good with other dogs, cats unknown, not recommended for young children.
Neutered, all vaccines updated, wormed, health check, micro chipped. I am in southern Idaho. Transport is available within the northwest to approved homes. Email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com ask for Thorr

Additional adoption info

Fees range between $150-$500. An adoption application, followed by a check of references, such as Veterinarian, and a home check and or pictures. After which the board will go over all the information and decide what is the best for the animal.

Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
