WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS ABOUT ME: Jerry is a lovable, goofy, over-sized puppy! He is very sweet and loves to snuggle! He is also extremely smart... very quick to learn and loves to please. He loves to play with the foster family's dogs. He is also good with cats. He hangs out with them now and is respectful of them! He is curious about them initially then moves on. He has been friendly towards everyone and every other pet.
He loves to play, play, play and rough houses with his five large and rambunctious foster siblings, keeping up with even the rowdiest. He also loves to play fetch with a frisbee. Despite his puppy energy and playfulness, he can also settle down in his crate and chill out or even lay down by your feet when you are settled down for the evening and relax.
He loves his people and loves soaking up attention from any humans he encounters - he knows no stranger! He plays with the neighborhood kids. His behavior has only been friendly towards every human and every pet.
He is very treat motivated, this is useful when working on his training - behavioral and commands. He is crate trained and pretty much now house broken. He will let you know when he has to go out to pee or poop. He would love the opportunity to continue training to be the best boy - he likes to please his people.
Jerry had a rough start in life! While we don't know what led him to the shelter where we pulled him from, he arrived injured after we suspect being hit by a car. Miraculously, he is no worse for the ware and made a full recovery with no major injuries and is now ready to join his forever family! He is an incredible pup and will be a great addition to any family! I mean, how lucky can you get with a pup that loves other dogs, as well as cats and kids...and people!

Laila's Legacy missions is to ensure every homeless dog - including those with behavioral or physical challenges - that comes through our doors has a chance at a better life while educating the public on breed bias, individualistic training, and the importance of spay-neuter to lower the impact of returned and abandoned animals in shelters.
