Introducing Zane, a year-old ChiWeenie who's a bundle of wiggles and joy with a tail that won't stop wagging! Weighing in at about 14 lbs, Zane is an absolute delight, always ready to snuggle up close and find comfort nestled into your neck, his designated happy place.
Zane is overflowing with affection for his people. When you walk through the door, be prepared to be greeted with his favorite chewy fake fish skeleton toy—it's his way of celebrating your return! He's also fond of his ragdoll toy rabbit but is not picky about his toys.
Life for Zane is a thrilling adventure filled with playful interactions with dogs of all sizes, exploring every nook and sniffing secrets, just like his hero, Indiana Jones. He dreams of being an archaeologist, exploring the mysteries around him, and is looking for a team of companions to join him on his sniffing adventures.
Currently living in a household with three young people with autism, Zane's gentle, kind nature makes him a beloved family member. He's also polite around cats, showing no interest in bothering them—what a good boy!
Zane is confident and adventurous at home but still slightly nervous around new people and unfamiliar dogs. This little explorer is searching for a family to help him expand his horizons, socialize with the world, and continue his training. He's already on a good start, knowing some commands and being highly food-motivated.
Zane's ideal person or family will ensure he gets plenty of exercise each day. Despite his small size, he has the energy to burn and loves to zoom around. He's also eager to master potty training and improve his leash skills, potentially becoming the star of his obedience class.

Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $800 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
