California City Shelter is rescue friendly, animals are free to 501c3 organizations but must have 5013c paperwork on file with the shelter. This shelter does not provide funds for any type of vetting.
ADOPTION FEES:
$100/dogs, $75/cats, this covers the spay/neuter at our local Cal City Pet Clinic, $10 voucher towards a rabies shot, $20 for the California City annual license (not required for cats) $20 adoption fee and the rest for S/N
If you are adopting and not a California City resident, the cost would be reduced by the $20 annual Cal City license fee.

For the past few years, a very small handful of volunteers have teamed up with the shelter/animal control personnel to help keep the facility clean, get animals seen via various social media sites and transport.
