Meet our very sweet and loving boy named Ceppa! Ceppa came to our facility after we received a call about him being stuck up in a tree for almost 3 days. With the help of the fire department, we were able to secure Ceppa and get him to safety. Turns out Ceppa is a very affectionate and friendly boy! He absolutely loves attention and can be carried around like a baby. No one has claimed this boy as theirs, so he is now looking for his forever family! He uses his litter box well and he is a good eater. Ceppa is a little shy at first with new cats, but he warms up after he knows they will not hurt him. We think he would be fine in a home with another cat. He can go to a home with children 10 years old and older.

Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.
An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
