My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lechuga, the bundle of boundless energy and enthusiasm wrapped in a furry coat! He is a spirited canine adventurer who thrives on exploration and excitement. With a wagging tail and a twinkle in those curious eyes, he is always ready to embark on thrilling escapades. This four-legged dynamo is a natural-born explorer, always eager to sniff out new sights, sounds, and smells. However, Lechuga's high energy and spirited nature may not be the best match for families with younger children. To truly thrive, he requires the company of kids who are older than 7, capable of keeping up with his lively antics and understanding his need for space and stimulation.

Additional adoption info

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
