My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clarence is 12 weeks old & 17lbs. At his young age, he is very smart! He loves the company of people and pets (cats and dogs), has a great capacity for basic obedience training (potty training, basic commands, and leash walking), and, most of all, has such a goofball personality! His favorite activities include playing with his puppy puzzle toys, romping around with his toys in a fun game of chase, and doing tricks for you. Get him a piece of food, and he will do anything you ask! Clarence loves to go anywhere you go. Given the chance, he will be at your heel, ready to play with you! He has so much love to give! He is never short on kisses and hugs and makes sure to love on everyone in the room equally. Clarence will make a great medium-large dog for a loving/active single person or family.

We do allow a short trial. Then contract and fee paid online.

We are extremely thorough with our adoption process. Our goal is to find the best fit for our dogs. We reserve the right to deny anyone a dog if we feel the applicant is not qualified or is not a good fit for the dog at our discretion. We require two personal references that we call to check character and get a recommendation on why or why not the applicant is a good candidate. Also, we call the vet reference to be sure the applicants current dog is current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. The home check is mandatory to be sure the applicant lives where they say they live and the pet will live in a safe environment.

More about this rescue

The Charity's specific purpose is to rescue lost or abandoned dogs from shelters, from the streets or from owners who are no longer able to care for them. Our goal is to prevent further euthanasia of these animals. All dogs receive medical care and behavioral training as needed to prepare them for a new home.
We do not have a facility.
All of our dogs are in foster homes.
The charity will also focus on efforts to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their animals to prevent the overpopulation of animals in Texas.
Our adoption fee is $300 which includes alteration, vaccines, microchip, training program in some cases & any medical treatments needed for each dog to be 100% healthy and successful in a home. Must have an approved application to set up a meet and greet.
