Meet Edna, a cuddly brindle and white border collie mix and who loves to lay on her back - and her tail wags immediately and constantly - for belly rubs. Edna is just as sweet as they come.

Her parents were left behind when their owners moved, and she was born under the neighbor's shed. This family was rescued when the puppies were just a few days old. The kids are healthy, fat and happy and are ready for their own forever home.

More about this rescue

Flying B Animal Rescue & Sanctuary was founded in honor of my husband Tom Baker who passed away in 2023 from pancreatic cancer. Tom understood my profound love of animals and wanted me to follow my dream to start an animal rescue - so here we are.

Flying B provides rescue, shelter, and rehabilitation for abandoned animals in the Ellis County and surrounding areas.
