My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing J-Hope!

Age: 4 months old

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Arrival Date: 1/20/2024

Meet J-Hope, a timid and shy 4-month-old Domestic Shorthair kitten! Found as a stray with her brother Yoogui, she was nursed back to health in a foster home. Due to her rough start, J-Hope is currently very skittish and will need time to trust people.

Behavior with Cats, Other Dogs, and Children

J-Hope needs a home with no kids or dogs due to her timid nature. Her behaviour with cats is unknown, but given her strong bond with her brother, she might potentially adjust well with other cats given slow, careful introductions.

 Personality

J-Hope is a shy and timid kitten who tends to keep to herself. Yet, she shows a sweeter side when she's with her brother Yoogui, with whom she enjoys cuddling 24/7. With patience and gentleness, she will have the opportunity to grow more confident over time.

 Skills/Training

J-Hope is litterbox trained which will ease her transition into a new home. Understanding and patience will be essential as she adjusts to her new surroundings.

 Medical

J-Hope is vaccinated and will soon be spayed and microchipped, ensuring she's ready for a healthy start in her new home. Regular vet visits will be important to ensure her continued health and wellbeing.

 Likes/Dislikes

J-Hope likes having a calm, gentle cuddle partner - preferably her brother Yoogui. She is not a fan of rough handling and needs a home where she will be treated with care and patience.

If you're looking for a pair of kittens or can provide a calm, gentle home for a timid cat like J-Hope, she might be your perfect match. Fill out an application to meet J-Hope; this shy kitten might just blossom into the loving, cuddly companion you're looking for!

More about this rescue

The Homeless Pets Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1998 by Dr. Michael Good, an Atlanta veterinarian who saw a need to create an organization that could assist animal shelters and pet owners in need. In the Atlanta area alone, there are more than 100,000 animals destroyed each year for lack of a home. The Foundation provides critical medical care, food, foster care and comfort to these homeless animals.
