This dog is a courtesy listing for one of our rescue partners Allen County Animal Rescue Facility. They are a rural animal control shelter near Iola KS. Many dogs are brought to their facility after being found as strays, dumped, surrendered, or brought in by the city. However, because they are in such a rural town, they have a very small pool of adopters and have a hard time finding homes for the dogs in the shelter. Our promise as their rescue partner is that should someone apply through us, we will handle any transportation needed to get the dog to their forever home, we will assist with home visits, dog intros and anything needed to help get these dogs out of the shelter and into loving homes. Malik is 4 years old, neutered, up to date on all necessary vetting. His adoption fee is $175.

Meet Malik! This sweet boy will take his time getting to know you, but once he is comfortable, he is the best buddy you'll ever have! He is the snuggliest baby, so if you're looking for a 60-pound lap dog, Malik is your guy! He has the cutest little piggy snorts when he gets excited, and they really come out when he sees a treat! Malik loves to play with other dogs, but will need a feline free home. Since he is shy, a home with small kids would not be a good fit for him. Malik is patiently waiting for his furever, could that be you?

Please complete our online adoption application if you wish to apply for one of our adoptable pets. Adoption fees range from $125 to $350. All dogs adopted from PAWS come with 1 months of free day care at KCPaws All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.

We are an organization determined to work for the benefit of animals in need. Whether it be helping to find new homes for our adoptable friends or working in connection with local and City agency's to investegate cases of cruelty and neglect. We have a large facility and staff that is able to handle a wide variety of these types of issues as well as working with animals with behavioral, socialization, or training issues.
