My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Frederick, a spirited and affectionate pup in search of a forever home!
This young and handsome white corgi mix was discovered wandering alone in a local neighborhood, with no one claiming him or reporting him missing. It's truly heart-wrenching to think how someone could abandon such a gentle and lovable companion. Thankfully, he found temporary refuge in a foster home where he was cherished as a valued houseguest.

Due to the prevalence of canine flu in Las Vegas, outdoor activities have been limited, but Frederick is equipped with his harness and leash for occasional walks. He thrives on running and playing in the yard, especially with other dogs. An active lifestyle suits him perfectly. Frederick adores toys, bones, and the company of his furry friends. He also receives supplements like Bixbi Immune Support and Caniclean Seaweed for dental health, along with a daily treat of CBD peanut butter after breakfast.

While he may play a bit vigorously with smaller dogs due to his size, Frederick's days revolve around sleeping, outdoor playtime, mealtime, and engaging with his fellow furry companions, particularly the Pommies. He would thrive in a home with another dog his size or a bit larger for company. Although he has no issues with food aggression, he's quite the enthusiastic eater and may indulge in his own food and others' if given the chance.

Frederick delights in his deer horn and squeaky toys, and his ideal home would be one that offers plenty of activity and adventure, ideally with a spacious yard for him to explore. He's mostly potty trained but may have occasional accidents, especially during the transition period. While a doggy door isn't available, Frederick is highly intelligent and would benefit from basic obedience training.
If you're ready to welcome a playful and loving companion into your active household, Frederick could be the perfect match for you! BUT keep in mind that he still has some puppy behaviors, chewing on shoes, stealing socks, and will nip (never biting the skin) to get your attention. All trainable behavior.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to provide quality animal welfare and rescue for Pomeranians who have been abandoned in shelters or do not have homes. The focus of the Pom Palace Dog Rescue is to help older and handicapped Poms and Pom mixes return to health and become adoptable. A Pomeranian can live up to 18 years of age and many are abandoned at an age that many people consider old. But in reality they have can live long and rewarding lives and enrich their owners lives for many years.
