My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

weight 80 lbs

11 months old as of 4/14/2024

adoption donation $499

Lila is such a sweetheart! She is a very gentle girl and definitely a Velcro dog, she follows her foster mom everywhere and just wants to be petted and loved. Leila recently arrived in the northeast from Mississippi and settled in quickly, she’s doing great walking on a leash and is perfectly potty trained although  like any rescue dog she may need a refresher when she adjust to a new home.

Lila and her siblings were left in a cardboard box by the side of the road in rural Mississippi with a note saying “free puppies.” Fortunately Wags stepped in and took the family in.
Lila love to play with other dogs and is fine with cats. She likes her crate and loves to gnaw on bones.  Lila love her people and loves to lay her big head on your lap as soon as you sit down! Even though she likes dogs, we think Lila would love all the attention herself and would prefer to be the only dog in the family. She’s a wonderful companion dog and will make a very loving and loyal member of the family.

Additional adoption info

We prefer to do a FaceTime interview and ask for references, personal and Vet. It’s very important to us that an Adopter and the dog are the right fit. We have many wonderful dogs! We want to make sure we facilitate the right dog for the right family.

More about this rescue
