My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sandy is so smart and loves to play! She is a gorgeous Australian cattle dog who is about 3 years old. She is medium sized weighing about 35-40lbs.
Sandy is a happy, enthusiastic and playful girl and loves getting attention. She may be shy at first but when she opens up, she becomes a Velcro dog. Sandy is house trained and crate trained. She sits for her treats, before being fed and when putting her leash on. She knows "sit", "wait", "stay", "food", "treat", "outside" and "go home". She's such a smart girl! Long walks and being outdoors are her favorite activities!
She is the biggest love bug and loves to cuddle and give kisses ?

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Fill out a foster or adoption application. (Based on what you are looking to do)

2.
Approve Application

You will receive an email confirming that you are now an approved adopter.

3.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out our Facebook or Instagram page and pick out a dog you like. Then come to an event or schedule a meet and greet to meet the dog.

4.
Meet the Pet

At an adoption event or meet and greet you can come and play with the dog and make sure he/she is the right fit for your family.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

At the event/meet and greet you will fill out a waver with your information.

6.
Pay Fee

The fees range from $400-$750 based on the dog’s age.

7.
Take the Pet Home

The dog now belongs to you! Enjoy life with your new best friend!!

It’s a simple process. Just fill out an application, give Gail a call (973-464-5592) and she will approve you, then go to an event or schedule a meet and greet and take home the dog the same day!

Adoption events are all throughout New Jersey. There is at least one per week but you can schedule a meet and greet any day. Meet and greets are at Pet Supplies Plus in Short Hills New Jersey.

More about this rescue

We are a big group of dog lovers. It’s sad to see how many dogs get euthanasia every day. We take the dogs out of kill shelters by the hundred, pay all the vet bills so they can be healthy. We are a non prophet RESCUE. We get no government funding. We need to do all our own fundraising and don’t get any money for the 80+ hours we are volunteering each week.
