Here's what the humans have to say about me:
THIS IS SPARTA! Our hearts are all a flutter at the rescue right now with this gorgeous girl. Sparta is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 50 pounds.
Honestly, could there be a more big, beautiful face? Sparta is such a gentle girl and loves to give kisses. She loves to play with toys too, it is very fun to watch. Sparta can be a little shy and insecure though, it takes her just a little time to trust, then it is all love. She needs a leader that she can rely on when she is unsure and to keep her safe. Sparta will also need an experienced adopter who has the patience to give her the time she will need to adjust and form a trusting bond. A home where any children are calm, respectful and at least 13 years old is what is best, due to her shy nature. Her new family will need a physical fenced in yard. Sparta loves other dogs, she really comes out of her shell and wants to play, it is wonderful to see. Sparta will need another dog in the home to help with building her confidence.
If you are interested in Sparta and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats*
