My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello world, my name is Johnny Cash. But you can call me Cash for short.

I'm a 7 to 8 month old dachshund mix. I'm a low rider of a boy. I'm a shy boy at first. And with a little patience from someone, I really do thrive and come out of my shell.

I'm a very sweet boy who enjoys cuddles and playtime. I am a loyal boy to my people, I love to play fetch, and I do well with other dogs as well. And I can be an active boy. I walk and hike about 6 miles a week. I love playing in the yard and running around with my 4 legged foster brother, I'm mostly housebroken, and sleep well in my crate at night, but I'm still learning how to be crated during the day, and I walk & hike great on a leash.

The perfect home for me would understand I came from a not-so-well situation. I was a very scared boy. And at times, I can still be. I just need reassurance from time to time. But I do warm up. And when I do, my whole personality shines.

If you think im the Paw-Fect match for you please message my rescue.

More about this rescue

We are a small group of people looking to help the abandoned and stray and outcast dogs. Our other highest priority is educating on population control thru spay/neuter and responsible animal care. We are always in need of donations as well because we have at least one medical dog at a time.
