My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What can we say about Breezy? Other than he is about perfect in every way.
He came to us after his owner could no longer afford care for his health issue (he had a tumor on the tail which has been removed and all margins are clear of cancer). (Original Post here: https://www.facebook.com/HSHCWV/posts/pfbid02baBuVveoWfdWxdFygQ8sypynNfhvVNoZHWVzz8v666ZrXtH2nMvMfY2arYPkD1vhl )
He does great with cats and dogs. He is laid back, but still would love some walkies. He is smart, well mannered, and rides great in the car. He loves to be close to his human, and would fit in most any home seemlessly.
And let's just say - look at those EARS! ❤

More about this shelter

Our mission is to pull animals that were strays or owner surrenders from the Harrison County Animal Control (WV) and make them adoptable to the public. We provide veterinary services such as vaccinations as well as spaying or neutering, and then try to pair them with the best potential adopters. We are not county funded, and so rely on our generous supporters and donors to help provide the care and basic necessities of our furry friends.

We also operate a thrift store and all proceeds benefit the shelter. Visit, buy, or donate at 220 Milford Street Clarksburg, WV. They are open Mon-Fri 11am-4pm and Sat 10am-2pm.
