My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amelia Braveheart is an absolute delight. She enjoys cuddling and giving kisses. The shelter environment is scary for her and she doesn't quite understand a leash (she will just pancake on the ground and not move) - the volunteers have to pick her up to get her outside to grass for her potty breaks. In a home environment, once she warms up, she will make someone an amazing, loyal dog.

During a recent playgroup session, Amelia Braveheart seemed overwhelmed, frightened, and under socialized. She may require a home with no other dogs or very slow introductions over the course of a few days to ensure successful cohabitation.

If you're interested in learning more about her, please reach out to our Volunteer Matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Amelia Bravehart 247314".

She is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be spayed prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
