My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper here :) Although I look a little rough, I promise it's not my fault. I was brought in as a stray and unfortunately had a few run ins with some bigger cats then me and they got the upper hand. I am a tough guy who had a lot of will to make it out on the streets and I ended up here now awaiting my new family! The shelter staff says I am a VERY affectionate lovable guy who is super eager to find a couch to sleep on and arms to cuddle me. Even though I came in as a stray - staff are aware I did have a home at one point. It's been a long time but I have been around dogs before, BUT here at the shelter I do NOT like them and would be happy to give them a mitten or two to the nose - I am sharing the colony room with some other cats and I have been doing great! I love cat nip, chin scratches, crunchy treats and naps! It's so nice to be safe, inside, and relaxing again. I may look rough for now on the outside, but I'll love you just the same as any other.
