Hi, I'm Camilla!

I am looking for my forever home where I can feel safe and loved. I take some time to build trust with my human but once I get a little comfortable, I enjoy being in the same room as my human. I particularly enjoy head scratches and will rub on your legs or give you head butts to let you know it's time for pets. I'm super sweet but just need some time and patience (and a Churu or two won't hurt)!

Visit the shelter during regular business hours. If the pet is listed as "in foster", please contact the foster at the email provided.

2.
Submit Application

If you would like to adopt after meeting the animal, the foster or staff member will give you a link to an online application.

3.
Approve Application

One of our adoptions counselors will contact you to go over the pet’s medical history, personality information, and answer any questions.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Finalize adoption paperwork & pay adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Schedule a time to pick up the pet at the shelter.

Founded in 1944, the Animal Welfare League of Arlington provides animal adoption and community programs to the Northern Virginia and D.C. metropolitan area, as well as animal rescue and control services within Arlington County.
