To help us make a great fit for you, and any of our dogs as well, please include information about yourself(Home, family, yard/fence, work hours, other pets...) and/or use our application at sparrowdogs.com. Those emails will get the quickest response, we do the best we can, but if we have to follow up with an email asking you about yourself and waiting for a response, well, we have already moved on to the next email that has provided the details. We are doing the best we can to find the right home for each dog or cat, just need your help too! :)
He is sweet...he is petite....and just a complete little darlin'! We are totally guessing his breed(s), since he was picked up as a stray so we really do not have any actual history. It is hard to imagine this little whisper of a boy out on his own, out in the cold, yet there he was!
Since then, Ralphie has done his very best to win over everyone he meets. Of course he happens to be simply adorable, and has a goofy little personality to match. He LOVES other dogs, loves romping in the yard, is terrific with everyone he meets and is very fond of being snuggled like a baby on his back, lol. Ralphie listens well and is not much of a barker, he has been very quiet so far.
He does sound like Mr. Perfect, and he is pretty darn close. But, he will still need a patient family that will be willing to guide him with any challenges that may arise. He was not potty trained when he arrived, but we are working on that and he is doing very well. We use belly bands to reinforce his training, so his family can expect to continue with Ralphie so he understand marking in the house is not an option.
He still needs to put on some much needed weight and we are gradually brushing out fine little knots in his soft, downy coat. He is fine with frequent brushing, the boy likes him some pampering!! We are looking for an active home(he is not a couch potato!) that will stay busy with him as well, small kids maybe too rough for this little guy. He will not do well with long hours alone, Ralphie has things to do and people to meet!! He is 2-3 years old and his adoption fee is $375.
