My name is Haengwoon, and I'm a 1-year-old female Jindo mix. Let me tell you a little about myself. I had a rough start to life, being abandoned in a parking lot when I was young. Luckily, I was rescued just before being sold to a dog meat restaurant, and now I'm patiently waiting for my forever family.
I'm a bit shy when I first meet new people, but once I warm up to you, I'm all cuddles and affection! It only takes me a few days to become best friends with someone, and then I'll stick to you like glue, showering you with love and charm. I'm also friendly towards other dogs and enjoy playing with them, so if you already have a furry friend at home, that's even better!
When it comes to walks, I'm a dream companion. I don't pull on the leash too much and am happy to follow your lead. I prefer going potty outside and am quite good at letting you know when I need to go. Plus, I've mastered getting in and out of cars safely, so you won't have to worry about that.

In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.
