I'm Emily, a 2-year-old Jindo mix, and I've been eagerly waiting to introduce myself to my potential forever family. Life hasn't been easy for me—I found myself in a City shelter while I was pregnant, and after giving birth to my puppies, they all found loving homes, leaving me behind. Thankfully, just right before euthanasia in the shelter, I was rescued and now I'm eagerly waiting to become a part of a loving family for life.
I absolutely adore people, though I may be a little shy at first. It takes me a few days to warm up, but once I do, I'm all about snuggles and affection. I love nothing more than being by your side, following you around, and soaking up all the attention I can get. I'm quite the little charmer when I want to be!
While I'm friendly with other dogs and will greet them politely, I'm not really interested in roughhousing or playing with them. If another dog tries to provoke me, I might be tempted to stand my ground, so it's best if I'm the only dog in the household.
When it comes to walks, I'm a dream companion! I don't pull on the leash, and I'm great at following your lead. After our stroll, I'm more than happy to settle down quietly for a rest, whether it's on the couch or in my kennel.
I'm fully house-trained and will use a pad indoors if needed. Plus, I'm not possessive of my food, whether it's for humans or other furry friends, and I'm not much of a barker either.

In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.
We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
