My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Meet Kay, the dare devil of her litter. She has no fear when it comes to jumping from steps, couches, chairs, etc. She has no problems telling of larger dogs or her brother or sisters. She will bite at your pants or shirts when she is hungry. Despite her "toughness she can be sweet...it is just usually when she is sleeping. She is extremely high energy and will need an active home to help focus that energy. She is working on potty training still, is kennel trained, and loves her food.

Kay is dog, cat, and kid friendly. She does well with dogs of all ages and sizes. She lives in a foster home with other dogs and cats. is outgoing and playful and would benefit from having an older dog in his forever home or training to continue learning as she grows. Although she loves other dogs, she is perfectly fine being a solo dog in her home if she gets plenty of time with her human(s) and gets to have puppy play dates to continue her socialization skills as she gets older. She also lives with kitties and is learning to respect their boundaries when they communicate, they do not want to deal with his puppy antics. She would be fine joining a family with dog-friendly cats: however, would require slow introductions with cats who have not been around dogs before. Her playful, loving, and caring temperament makes her the perfect pup to join a family with kids of all ages. She would love to have some human kids in his forever home to play and cuddle with.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
