My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Jacinta! I’m a beautiful 3 year old small white/brown girl that was found as a stray in San Antonio but am now ready for my forever home! I am medium to high energy that enjoys playing during the day and relaxing with the family at night. I’m a small and sweet girl with great manners! I am house trained, crate trained, leash trained, doggy door trained, and working on not jumping when getting excited. Some of my favorite things are playing with toys, going for walks, playing with the resident dogs, chewing on bones, and most of all being close to my family! I am not crazy about being alone and want to go everywhere with my family and am currently learning how to ride in the car next to the human kids. I currently live with three resident dogs (ages 3-12 years) and after learning proper manners and who doesn’t want to play, I love them and do well with them. My foster mom thinks I would do best with submissive dogs or would be fine as an only dog. I like to play rough, am fast, and sound like a Tasmanian devil when playing, but I am harmless! I share my toys well and have no food resource guarding. I do not live with cats so a proper introduction would be needed. I live with two kids (ages 10 & 12 years) and I love them! I tend to hang around the 10 year old girl more but love them both nonetheless! I like following the kids around where they go, play with them, sit next to them and get a lot of love from them, lay with them while they play games or read. Although my foster mom thinks I would be best suited with older or dog savvy kids due to me still learning not to jump, I would love nothing more than to have kids in my forever home who pay attention and play with me! If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
