My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Luvy, a 10-month-old female Labrador Retriever.

I had a rough start in life, tied up to guard fields in the countryside until I was rescued. But don't worry, that's all behind me now!

I absolutely adore people! Whether we've just met or known each other for years, I'll wag my tail and nuzzle up to you, asking for pets and cuddles. I've got quite a playful and affectionate nature, you see.

I'm quite the social butterfly too! I get along well with other dogs and always greet new furry friends with a friendly sniff and wag of my tail. However, if another dog tries to start something, I might be tempted to join in, so it's best to watch out for that.

When it comes to humans, I can't help but bark with joy when I see you, but don't worry, I'm not much of a puller on walks. I do have a high energy level, though, so after a good run around outside, I'm more than happy to curl up for a nice, relaxing nap.

I'm quite good about doing my business outdoors and I don't guard my food from people or other dogs. Basically, I'm just a sweet and well-behaved girl looking for a loving forever home. Could that be with you?

More about this rescue

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
