My name is Haven!

Haven is currently in a foster home and NOT at the shelter.

Meet our sweet boy Haven! Haven is a 9-10 year old male Boxer mix that weighs around 60 lbs. pounds.  We do not know much about his history but we can tell you that he has been a perfect gentleman at the shelter.  He has a caramel brown brindle coat that glistens in the sun.  He has a medium energy level.  He walks well on leash.  His kennel is always clean and he knows several commands.  When he is happy, he howls.  He is missing the home life.  Haven is gentle and loves to be near his person.  Haven would be perfect in any household that is willing to provide him love and companionship.  Older children are fine.  He is dog friendly. Compatibility with cats is unknown.  A meet and greet is required with any resident canines.  Haven is available for our foster to adopt program.  This means that you can foster Haven in your home until he is all done with his routine vetting through the Shelter.  After that, you can formally adopt Haven.  Haven will be vaccinated, tested for heartworm disease, and microchipped.  Haven is already neutered.  If you want to adopt Haven, please email dogadoptions@parmashelter.org and fill out an adoption application online to meet Haven.  Haven’s adoption fee is $85.  Haven is so deserving of a good home where he can live out his life safe and happy.
