My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Sprocket & Autumn are Patient Paws, please ask about their reduced adoption fee!**

** Sprocket is bonded with his sister, Autumn, and need to go home together! **

Age: 6.5 years
Weight: 8 kg

Meet Sprocket, the boisterous boy that loves people! While his sister, Autumn, is more content to keep to herself at first, Sprocket enjoys being the life of the party! And with his figure, you'd probably expect him to be pretty lazy. But Sprocket actually really enjoys playtime! Because he's quite a large boy, he will need a slow and gradual weight-loss diet to help him lose a little extra weight. Once he's all played out, you'll be sure to find Sprocket curled up with Autumn or cuddled up to you for a nap! There's only one thing better than saving one life; saving two! So come meet the silly Sprocket and adorable Autumn today!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
