Hello everyone, my name is Matty. I am such a good boy, but I can be a little skittish at first so a nice quiet environment would be my best home ( no home with young kids- too hectic for my tastes- no offense) but I think older, dog savvy kids would be great, maybe over 12. I am affectionate and a lap is my favorite place to be.

I was so scared when I was picked up at the shelter- I did not know what to think. And then friends, I had to have dental work, so that was a good thing, but still...

I am a little overweight at 17.5 pounds and could stand to lose a pound or two- but nobody’s perfect- right? My age is estimated to be about 6.5 years old.

I like to do all the usual doggy things- walking, sniffing, thinking about my next meal. I would be great for a senior couple or a single person.
